PROGRAMME

The French Alps has long been a popular destination for white water kayakers, whether its paddlers looking for their first alpine experience or seasoned adventurers enjoying the fast paced paddling in the summer sun.

Gene17Kayaking for June will be in the Durance Valley and be able to offer both day guiding and coaching, 5 day tours in the Ecrin. See our programme below.

Our Coaches and Guides in the French Alps are there all season from May to August, because they live there year round. Native english speaking local paddlers with the highest French qualifications in the form of Nico Chassing, (Zambezi legend) and Tommy Bankes are on hand for any solution from a day’s one to one coaching to a full week’s programme hitting the alpine high lights. Plus once off the river they’ll be able to suggest great local attractions and good places to dine too.

In early June, traditionally the French Alps location of the Durance Valley is prime, with high water, clean lines, fine times to be had. See Fullon Charger
