Durance, France - French Alps Tours

Where you wish to come out in early June high water or cruise the Classics in late June, the French Alps has a wide range of runs all within a short range of the Durance Valley. Our 5 day river tour will give you a fast paced hit of the Alps at its best. Our 9 to 5 guiding service is the perfect quick hit for those who want a slice of the French Alps.

Fullon Charger - In early June is after the peal run off, and we enjoy the best of high water runs, Guil, Durance & the Ubaye, full on and the very best of the French Alps.
Progressive & Dynamic - In mid June, the white water starts to get structure, with great dynamic moves to learn and enjoy on Class III/IV.
Alpine Fundamentals - By late June, the main flood is over on the larger rivers, leaving sun soaked runs of alpine classic to enjoy, this tour is on Class II/III+ white water.

Elemental Skills - Soča, Slovenia - Class II/III

Want to get the basics sorted? This course will give you the tools to understand and improve your own paddling, as well as the confidence to choose your own lines, and run Class III to your heart's content, in safety and style. The Soča's crystal clear blue water and clean bedrock rapids offer a the perfect setting to improve your paddling with confidence.

For the Class III paddler wanting to the confidence and knowledge to step up a grade, there could be no better place to learn than the Soča valley. The pool drop bedrock style of the Soca offers the perfect training ground, with endless opportunities to perfect your technique before testing it out on more challenging whitewater. This week will see you building confidence and style.

Injury recovery, or something else holding you back? LaunchPad can get you to the next level. This programme is for paddlers whom may of plateaued out, feel their paddling is missing a key building block or they want to get a full analysis of the situation, before moving on bigger challenges.

Rishikesh Road Trip- India - Class III/IV+

The British obsession with the sub continent is something that is difficult to explain, no matter where you are from; perhaps it is best experienced for yourself. The Himalayas have so much white water to offer it’s a job to know where to start. Uttarakhand Pradesh, 200km north of New Delhi, is an ideal place to begin.

In early season, tributaries of the Holy Ganges River flow through polish granite canyons and offer days and days of quality world-class white water at every turn. Just take a look at some of the photos from Gene17 scouting missions in the last couple of years.

Tamur, Nepal - Multi Day - Class III/IV

The Himalayan Kingdom of Nepal is home to mythical legends old & new, outstanding natural beauty and rivers abound for every paddler. We take advantage of the numerous multi day possibilities on several different rivers, that gives this location its reputation as an adventure paddlers paradise.

We take advantage of some of the best Trekking in Nepal to access the Tamur.

Tsarap Zanskar, India - Multi Day - Class III+/IV+

Remote, pristine & unique, the combined Tsarap & Zanskar rivers flow 300km through the Zanskar range starting at a high elevation of over 4000 metres finally meeting the mighty Indus river.

Over 7days on the water you will encounter everything between class II shingle bed rapids, class III boulder gardens to big water class IV. Everywhere you look there is a stunning view of the Zanskar range and all immersed in a very rich Buddhist culture.

There will be an opportunity to spend time in local villages and visit the impressive Phuktal monastery built into a cave half way up the canyon wall! This can only be accessed by the river or several days hiking over the mountains.
